I’ve only really been dieting for about 5 days and I can officially say I’ve already lost 2 pounds! That’s without fluctuation. That’s pretty exciting! I’m not trying to loose pounds at a ridiculous rate but it’s good motivation to see that something is changing already :)


so far today:

1 slim fast shake for breakfast

snacks: carrots (plain), and a 100 calorie light yogurt

water

left for today: 1 slim fast shake for lunch, 1 healthy 100 calorie snack, 1 balanced meal for dinner.

Today went not as well for food as it has for the past 5 days.

I forgot my meal shakes at home so I bought a salad with chicken for lunch.

Had a 100 calorie yogurt cup for a snack. 

I came home and had salmon and red pepper for dinner with home-cooked breadsticks for my carbohydrate. I probably had too many of them though, which is where I really failed.

I did however stick strictly to drinking water all day instead of anything else. I need to stay up late tonight to do homework so instead of drinking a soda for caffeine I am brewing some green tea for energy (0 calories). No exercise though… as I worked all day long and am now home trying to make sure I don’t fail my final due this Friday! I will kick off my exercising as soon as the quarter ends, on Saturday.

Gonna have a better day tomorrow! At least I made decently healthy choices, better than I would have 2 weeks ago.


Last time I posted, I weighed 188lbs. Sad to say, I’ve gained, and I weighed myself the other night - I am 208lbs! 20 pounds. My horrors came true, I weighed over 200lbs. It’s not okay. Luckily for me for the last 5 days or so I have been sticking true to the Slim Fast diet plan, and although I don’t know how healthy it really is to drink two of those shakes a day in place of a meal, for now it has helped me be strict about eating healthier choices outside of it.

I’ve been sticking almost perfectly to the plan so far and I feel like for now, I can do this, if nothing to help kick my healthy eat off right and drink more water as well as consume less.

After weighing myself the first time I came back and was a few pounds lighter, but it’s probably still water weight or just fluctuation. Anyways we’ll see! The 200lb mark has sparked me and I am not going to look back this time, no matter what and no matter how long it takes!

I’m serious about this but I am going to be more flexible with myself since diets never work for me. I am going to take things slow, and work out, and sleep.

Here are my goals for weightloss (SW=208lbs) :

135 is supposed to be “normal” weight for my body type and height, and I don’t think it’s too much to ask for from myself, I don’t care how long it takes me as long as I am progressing.
